‘Russian’ hits Iran’s home market

‘Russian’ has entered the domestic home market of entertainment in Iran.

Directed by Amir-Hossein Saqafi, the film is a romantic drama and the director’s fourth directorial experience after ‘Death Is My Trade’, ‘Everything for Sale’ and ‘The Man Who Became a Horse’.

According to a media report, ‘Russian’ enjoys the same ambiance as most films by Saqafi with a slight difference – he has adopted a screenplay with more characters.

Notable among the film cast are Tannaz Tabatabaee, Amir Aqaee, Saber Abar, Milad Keymaram, and Kamran Tafti.

The movie premiered in the Iranian movie theaters on August 21, 2019.
